Texas ranks near the bottom when it comes to high school graduation rates, test

scores, and other key educational indicators when paired with other states.

The problem isn’t our schools, our students, or our teachers. It’s the State Board of Education. For too long, our State Board of Education has put partisanship and special-interest agendas above our children.

It’s time for that to end.

My name is Edra Bogle, and I’m running for State Board of Education, District 14. As your next State Board of Education member, I pledge to improve curriculum standards, reform the textbook selection process, and be a responsible steward of our state’s Permanent School Fund.
